OBJECTIVES: The objectives of the course are:

   
     To describe the structure and function of the components of a cell and their specialisations in particular types of cells.
     To explain how cells communicate with each other.
     To describe how the chromosomal structure of the cell is involved in production of proteins.
     To present an introduction to the mechanism of inheritance and the ways in which this mechanism can be modified to
     produce and prevent disease.
     To describe Mend  To describe diversity of forms and functional arrangements possible of the basic cell design.Elian and
     population genetics, and to understand variations in human characteristics and traits.
